I created this calico skirt in my first year at University, I learnt to pattern cut and construct clothing and home furnishing items including cushions as well as various fabric manipulation techniques. This skirt was to reflect everything that I had learnt in that module. Within this skirt I incorporated Suffolk puffs, hexagonal patchwork, stitch and slash, shawl fold squares and split circle frills.
