This module from my second year at University consisted of hand printing and producing a final collection of A1 furnishing fabric samples. I absolutely loved this module as I experimented with more technical techniques including devoré and illuminated discharge on luxurious fabrics including silk twill and devoré satin. My design is 64cm height and 34cm width and a half drop. I created this design by placing my imagery in the set measurements and used tracing paper to translate it into an accurate repeat pattern. Next, I painted out 4 A1 kodatrace as my floral design had four colour separations. I feel confident washing, coating and exposing silk screens.
